With a commitment to giving $100 a year in four different increments, our supporters become the unsung heroes who fill crucial gaps. While $25 may not seem substantial at first glance, collectively it has made all the difference in critical moments, like ensuring we have a functioning air conditioning unit during the hot summer or maintaining a vehicle for essential transportation needs. Your generosity, no matter the amount, has a profound impact on the lives of our children and staff. Oblong Children’s Christian Home welcomes you to our campus and we’re thankful for your interest in partnering with us in ministry. There are many possible projects. Depending upon importance, time, skill, and cost, we may assign one or more projects to your group. It is very important to the success of your mission trip that we work as a team. Hopefully, this will make your trip easier and will allow us to be prepared for your arrival. Above all, may Jesus be glorified in all of our efforts.
Take these important steps:
Pick a date (have a couple in mind)
Determine who will come (e.g., families, youth group members, skilled workers)
Determine your level of involvement (e.g., do you want to fund a special project AND work on it)

Estate Planning
Leave a legacy–give a portion of your estate to Oblong Children’s Christian Home. Your generosity can provide homes for generations to come. You may designate your gift either to be used as needed by the Home or to be given to the Home’s endowment fund. Gifts given to the endowment fund keep on giving until the Lord returns as only the interest is used annually. There are many ways to give, including giving a percentage of your estate or a set amount, giving insurance policies, or giving the remainder of your IRA. Several of these vehicles may have great tax advantages that may increase the size of your gift. Annuities, which are both a gift and a lifetime income for you/your spouse, are available through the Children’s Home. Contact your financial adviser and call our office at (618)-592-3633.
